Take a Walking Tour
While our tasting room is open only during business hours, our picnic grounds and gardens are usually open for general recreational use from dawn to dusk. Our gardens are vibrant with colors that change every week, from Spring to the Fall season. Thousands of day lilies surround our ponds, as well as hundreds of other flowers and plants.
Activities
Enjoy your time at Worthington with one of our various activities. Relax playing cornhole with a drink or visit our bocce ball courts, available every weekend! Inquire to attend one of our variety of workshops or classes. Ranging from exercise to decorative classes and wine pairings, Worthington provides the perfect setting for whichever experience fits your taste.
Boating
Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available for rent to take out and tour Worthington Pond. See if you can spot one of the many beavers or various other animals that habitat the pond.
Fishing
Bass and Yellow Perch and plentiful in Worthington Pond. Fishing is allowed but only by permit only. $10 per day per person; limit of 2 per day. Catch and release only.
Winter
In the winter, our trails are open for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing when the conditions warrant. We also host skating parties and organize pick-up hockey games when the ponds freeze. Visitors or spectators who want to watch from indoors get to enjoy warm mulled wine or can lounge by a comfortable fire at our warming house.
Hiking
We have over a mile of trails, a few of which connect to the neighboring Camp Aya Po trail system, giving visitors access to over 3 miles of woodland trails.
Feed the Goats
Visit Stella and Dixie and their kids, Billy, Peg, and Luna. They love visitors and always welcome a handful of their favorite snack mix! They will be sure to welcome you to Worthington while Champ (the Wonder-dog) keeps a watchful eye out to make sure the kids are rounded up in their pen.
Have a Picnic
Or just have a seat in one of our Adirondack chairs or at our outdoor tables and enjoy a picnic with a Worthington beverage of your choice. We have many tables to choose from, but please call in advance if you plan to have a group size of 10 or more.
